Rate structure

CMS Derks Star Busmann guarantees cost-efficient use of lawyers, civil-law notaries and tax consultants at all times. The fee is calculated based on the time spent, unless agreed otherwise.

The disbursements incurred for each individual case (such as the costs of engaging a bailiff, land registry costs and other out-of-pocket costs) and a fee of 5% for office costs will be charged.

The hourly rates are based on the experience of the lawyer concerned and the urgency, complexity and financial importance of the assignment.

Invoicing

Invoices are sent monthly. We feel it is important to offer you as much detail as possible in our invoices, and so the invoice you receive will specify the following information:

• total fee amount 
• disbursements (divided into taxable and nontaxable disbursements) 
• any deductions (e.g. amounts already received for the client)

We will be pleased to discuss with you any variations to the rates or the rate systems.
