CMS Derks Star Busmann assisted and advised Eurobank EFG Telesis Finance Investment Firm S.A. ('EFG') in its financing of Singidunum d.o.o. for the acquisition of real estate in Belgrade, Serbia.

CMS DSB advised EFG concerning the required documentation in respect of corporate law and security (pledge on shares and subordination agreement) and issued a legal opinion. The team was headed by Marcel Groenewegen and also comprised Marcel Jansen and Marc Orval. The transaction was completed successfully on 11 June 2008.
