Frank Leyendeckers works in our firm's Administrative Law practice. He specializes in general administrative law and administrative procedural law. He is also active in the area of spatial planning and environmental law, including its relationship with property development. His particular area of expertise is the effect that environmental standards have on spatial planning, particularly in relation to noise nuisance, air polution and external safety.
Frank Leyendeckers has been with CMS Derks Star Busmann since 2004 and began his career at the Bar in 1992, before which he worked as a staff lawyer in the administrative law department of the Council of State, where he was particularly involved in disputes relating to the environment and spatial planning. He also worked for two years as company lawyer with a large property developer.
He works for both, project developers and authorities in the development of larger residential complexes, shopping malls and other commercial property. Further Frank advises and litigates on larger infrastructural projects, such as the reconstruction of highways and railways (e.g. the Betuwe all-freight railway line and the HSL, high-speed railway).
