Jochem de Koning is a tax consultant and works out of the Utrecht and Amsterdam offices. Jochem has been a board member of CMS Derks Star Busmann since April 2008. He is specialized in Dutch and international tax law for companies, advising them in the area of international structuring and tax planning, participation exemption, tax treaty issues, mergers and takeovers, investment funds, transfer pricing and tax matters which companies have to deal with on a daily basis. His clients comprise large and medium-large, mainly internationally operating companies, as well as financial institutions and pension funds. Jochem works frequently with tax lawyers at other CMS offices in France, Germany and the United Kingdom.

Before joining CMS Derks Star Busmann in 2004, he worked for eleven years with Loyens & Loeff as a tax lawyer in the international practice.
