Bart Bendel assists and advises clients in the area of corporate law (inter alia all various of shareholders´ disputes, accountants´ liability, executive and non-executive directors´ liability, the restructuring of companies, takeovers and takeover disputes, incorrect annual accounts, shareholders´ buy-outs and other proceedings against or for (minority) shareholders. Bart has extensive litigation experience, including in court proceedings before the Enterprise Division of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal. Bart teaches at the SRA (the Alliance of Registered Accountants and Accounting Consultants) and regularly gives courses on current developments in corporate law.
After studying Dutch law at Utrecht University, Bart joined CMS Derks Star Busmann in 1999. In 2003 he worked in Curaçao for Spigthoff Advocaten in Willemstad, before returning to work at CMS Derks Star Busmann.
