"Robert Bosman qualified in 1981 and has worked in our Brussels office since 1986, where he manages the transnational practice group EC and Competition law. The Brussels office works closely together with the EC practice groups of the other firms within the CMS alliance, including CMS Hasche Sigle and CMS Bureau Francis Lefebvre.
Within CMS, Robert forms part of the management of the transnational practice group EC and competition law. He is also active in the practice group energy law and the focus group automotive sector.
Robert specializes in EC law, as well as European and Dutch competition law and regulated markets. He frequently acts for clients in proceedings against and before the European Commission, the Netherlands Competition Authority and the Dutch Independent Post and Telecom Authority (OPTA).
He also gives lectures and presentations within the Netherlands and abroad on a range of subjects relating to competition law and he writes articles. Until 2001 Robert taught competition law at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (EDHEC) in Lille (France) and until 2006 he sat as a substitute judge in the Court of Breda.
