Legislation in the area of financial supervision in the Netherlands has evolved consiserably in the past few years. This supervision or regulation is laid down in the Act on Financial Supervision (Wft).

Within the framework of these regulatory Act, CMS Derks Star Busmann advises banks, pension funds, securities institutions (asset managers and brokers) and issuing institutions. National and international investment funds, insurance companies and other financial institutions subject to regulation also come to us for advice.

Our work for them ranges from supervising licence applications to advising on the introduction of new financial products as well as giving advice within the framework of the duty of care.
