The Russian Desk is headed by Roman Tarlavski, a corporate finance partner who has fifteen years of experience in the area of corporate law. Roman specializes in cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, structured joint ventures and private equity. Roman is a Russian native speaker and is also fluent in Dutch and English.

Roman is supported by Yana Levin, who is also a Russian native speaker and fluent in Dutch and English. Yana has five years of experience as an associate in the corporate department and advises Dutch and international companies in the context of national and cross-border transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and others.

Jochem de Koning is part of the team as a tax specialist. Jochem is a tax partner with fourteen years of experience, specialized in Dutch and international tax law. He advises on international tax structuring and tax planning (including the use of the participation exemption), tax treaty issues and tax issues in relation to mergers, acquisitions and fund structuring.
